Industrial mechanical sealing solutions

Levitas seals

Our Levitas transmission seal rings use hydrodynamic oil film technology to reduce transmission friction by as much as 70% over conventional components, depending on application conditions.

Unlike conventional transmission seal rings, which are optimised hydrostatically, Levitas seals build up a hydrodynamic oil film to virtually float on a cushion of oil. There is a full sealing function, despite no physical contact between the seal ring and the dynamic counter face. This reduces friction and wear, creating an extended product life.

    • Simmerring seals

      A prime example of design and materials combination in mechanical seals is the Simmerring group of seals. Simmerring shaft seals are made from the cutting-edge materials 72 NBR 902 and 75 FKM 585 for long life and low friction.

      Extensive testing means the interaction of seal, lubricant and rotating shaft are precisely matched to the application for optimally matched, efficient tribological systems.
